Camp Descriptions

Multimedia Madness

A fantastic camp for the eclectic young artist. This year’s multimedia camp is a sculptural whirlwind of 3D projects. Working with a different medium each day, campers try their hand at a variety of materials and techniques. A perfect camp for the artist who loves it all!

Dynamic Ceramics

Potters 5-7 years old will make a variety of projects in an introduction to working with clay and clay tools. Potters 8-12 years old learn more advanced pottery techniques while creating beautiful ceramic vessels. Artists in this camp will value these works and their amazing new skills for years to come!

Sew…Stitch…Glamp!

In this whimsical textiles camp, we sew and we glamp!  Creating handmade camping accessories to wear and to use, artists learn their way around the sewing machine and basic hand sewing skills while creating awesome functional gear for a Summer of adventure.

Drawing and Painting

This week is designed to provide a basics course for our young summer artists. We will teach introductory drawing/painting techniques including line, form, proportion, value, texture and perspective as well as introduce the tools of the trade.  101 is tailored specifically for 5-7 year olds.  201 is tailored specifically for 8-12 year olds.

Homestead Handicrafting

This all new camp provides a modern daily dose of old fashioned artistic life skill. Our young handicrafters will take cues from some of the original makers, who make daily life happen creating sustainable, valuable and artistic handmade goods. A multimedia art experience not to miss!

Edible Artistry

Young pastry prodigies unite! This year’s cooking camp celebrates high end pastry decoration. Too pretty to eat? Food or Art?  It’s Edible Artistry. Delightful and delectable projects fill our week.

Arty Beach Party

Get stoked artists, Color Wheel is throwing… a beach party! Sand sculpture, gourmet popsicle making and so much more as the good vibes roll through the studio all week long. Dude…

Project Printmaking

From building screens, to printing on objects, our young Summer artists build their artistic repertoire and create a cool series of prints in this versatile medium.
