Beginner Sewing Intensive Week – 5 afternoons – June 23 – 27 – ages 10-16

Class Title:  Beginner Sewing Intensive Week

This is a great class that goes beyond machine basics (although we will cover those for first-timers) and moves into following a pattern and different methods of textile construction with endless application.  Join us for 5 days of sewing that will strengthen basic skills and build confidence with machine sewing.  We will introduce machine sewing for those brand new, while students familiar with the machine unlock new skills and improve proficiency with the ones they have.  We will also work on understanding patterns and take on a project from start to finish.  This class is well suited to adventurous beginners or those who have some machine experience.  Students will leave with a foundation of sewing that they can take with them into a lifelong hobby!
