Candy camp this week was pretty sweet! We made cookie tacos and created menus, chocolate bonsai trees, galaxy rings pops, starry night cookies, puff pastry dogs with back stories, branded our sweet treat companies and packaged it all up. Our make & take snake pendants are easy to do at home! We used polymer clay to roll small coils, add a jump ring and bake at a low temp for a few minutes! Share your creations with us!

For MLK Day our camp was themed In Collaboration.

For MLK Day our camp was themed In Collaboration. Artists all painted simple square tiles that we arranged into a grid that revealed a bird. We learned about pixel art and how working together can create something more impressive than the sum of our parts. Shout out to our Amazing Assistant Director Candace (with so much help from Teachers Anna & Jillian) who spent hours blending paint, planning the grid, and leveling and assembling this project! #artcamp #communityart #artisticcollaboration #incollaboration #mlkcamp #bettertogether #pixelart #birdmural
