We have launched our Spring Studio Art Survey class for teens. This is a course meant to meet the demands of middle & high school students who have outgrown our after school program but want to develop their art practice in a studio setting. The class is taught by a rotation of teachers that sample different mediums and techniques. We are excited that this term we will delve into textile felting and multimedia shadowbox art. Spring Break is just over 2 weeks away! We have a full youth camp (see previous post), but we are excited to announce that during Spring Break, we’ll be holding two Teen Sessions. School’s out, and your tween/teen is looking for something creative, social, and engaging, but not an all-day camp? Join us for one or both of these workshops that run parallel to our camps and feature advanced art techniques and materials. It’s a more mature format designed for the 12+ age group with a schedule that lets them sleep in and skip recess!

LEATHERCRAFT DISCOVERY: Ages 12-17
April 1-3 (Monday-Wednesday) | 1pm-4pm

MULTIMEDIA MOBILE SCULPTURE: Ages 12-17
April 4-5 (Thursday & Friday) | 1pm-4pm
Inspired by Alexander Calder and contemporary interior design trends, artists in this class will make kinetic mobiles.
